The Tower Theatre, in conjunction with the Central Oregon Literary Theatre (COLT) is planning a special evening for Central Oregon residents and guests. This evening marks the first large-scale production by COLT.
“In the dead of winter, an evening with Edgar Allan Poe and other spirits, ghost stories and things to warm the heart and chill the spine”. Mulled wine, hot cider, hot chocolate and cold bodies…will be only part of the offerings. COLT Artistic Director Brad Hills, award-winning director and producer, in cooperation with the Tower Theatre will present a performance of selections from Edgar Allan Poe as well as local ghost stories that will be provided by citizens who read this notice.
COLT and the Tower are looking especially for ghost stories that originate in the Bend area or Central Oregon, but all are welcome and may be used depending upon content. Stories and questions may be emailed to don@towertheatre.org or call Don Senecal at 541-633-0854 to relate a real and scary tale. Anonymity is guaranteed upon request, but some tales may become part of the entertainment on stage at the Tower.
This evening with Poe and friends is scheduled for Saturday, March 1st. Be sure your calendar is marked and you intend to be there….or else!!!
